I started baking mainly for my kids and family members. I had to stay in different parts of countryside as my husband was a government official; where we could not manage good quality cake or even bakery items. So, I used to do it all by myself to ensure quality and to decorate it as per the kids’ choice. A theme cake was very unusual in those days. In all the occasions my baking was a must. As everyone started liking it, it became my hobby and I really enjoy it. I’ve been doing this for18 years now. I had to bake with Innovation and improvisation as proper materials for baking were not available; even at times I had to bake on normal gas stove with sand. In recent years I have been living in Dhaka. For a long time i had used only butter cream for my cakes, but of late I’ve started with modeling chocolate and fondant work.
I am now confident to inspire others with baking tips and will love to learn from others and share my ideas.
