I am Sohana Chowdhury, a self- taught baker, with no formal training in this field. I was mostly experimenting, watching YouTube tutorials, blogs, social media and guidance from some talented and creative women in the field. I graduated from the University of Dhaka in Management Studies. Immediately after graduation, I joined a leading pharmaceutical company. After working in a corporate for 15 years, I felt the urge to pursue my passion.
Besides my job I am also the owner of ‘Sohanas’ Sprinkles’, a home based custom cake shop. My love for baking began a few years back, after making a cake for my daughter’s birthday. Initially, it was just a hobby which turned into a career with the appreciation and motivation from friends and family. In the year 2015, I started my Facebook page “Sohana’s Sprinkles”, dedicated to dessert lovers so that I can spread my knowledge and extend my imaginations.
Decorating fanciful cake sculptures with modeling chocolate and buttercream is my forte. I bring to you each cake lovingly hand crafted using the finest ingredients and mouth-watering flavors.
